Shawn Michaels to Enter WWE Hall of Fame
World Wrestling Entertainment® reported today that perhaps the best whiz to ever perform for WWE, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, will be enlisted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. The enlistment service will happen on Saturday, April 2 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA, the prior night WrestleMania® XXVII.
"Shawn Michaels was the best in-ring entertainer in the historical backdrop of WWE," said Vince McMahon, Chairman and CEO.
Shawn Michaels had one of the most celebrated professions in the chronicles of World Wrestling Entertainment. He held each significant title over his multi year vocation with the games stimulation organization. Notwithstanding his "HBK" moniker and as one portion of
"D-Generation X®," Michaels earned the moniker "Mr. WrestleMania" because of his various paramount matches at the yearly, popular culture spectacle. Fittingly, Michaels' last match occurred last March at WrestleMania XXVI, losing to The Undertaker® in an epic match where he put his vocation hanging in the balance.
